Hello, I’m David Haines, a specialty photographer and photographic assistant in Portland Oregon.
My work has been seen on television, newspapers, and in a few magazines in the US, Canada, and Italy. I shoot for performers, designers, organizers, entrepreneurs, and athletes. Contact me anytime for more info.
Lots of my photos are captured by way of a bicycle — you may spot me pedaling around Portland with a tripod or light stand jutting out of my backpack. I’m an advocate for active transportation, kooky adventures, keeping it local, and thinking for yourself. The “BikeRanger” nickname began when I got a little too fired up about garbage on a trail, it’s been my tag ever since.
